Bad Photographer or Bad Photoshopper?

After reading a story on CNN.com today about a photographer who altered pictures of the bombing in Beirut to make them look more destructive than they actually were. Anyone whos ever dealt with Photoshop would have told this photographer...get used to the Clone Stamp Tool a bit more if you want make stuff look more like it never appeared ( why would you want to do that in the first place?) Oh wait he was Lebanese, but in my opinion he was a terrible Photoshopper and a sucker for believing that people would buy his explaination.
