Now that you mentioned it

On my birthday which was on May 27th, someone told me..."Hey did you know that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter was born on the same day as you?"
No....now that you've mentioned it, yes that is true.

I would like to tell that gentle stranger thank you for telling me that unknown fact. Thank you for telling me something useless that I could very well do without. You could have given me a kiss on the cheek but you were talking faster than a speeding bullet...you could have bought me a sandwich or walked over to BUFFALO WILD WINGS and get me a sweet tray of chicken which I love. Thank you gentle lady for finding someone to notify that you keep up to date on the latest celebrity gossip.I really wish I did not see you

.::Scare your way to health::.

Today I read a post on MSN MEN'S HEALTH , theres nothing like scaring yourself into taking care of your body and the things you put in it. The writer mentioned that below our skins "is nothing
but trouble".

After reading the articleI immediately started thinking of ways to clean my body out. The writer mentioned instances of men dropping dead while doing common tasks dying because they forgot to wear their seatbelts while driving to the grocery store. Anyways...enough from me, read and see for your self.

A momentary lapse of creativity or not...

Yesterday I created a video using a camera, edited it in Macromedia Flash and added a song by Isreal Kamikawiwoole. In case you're wondering the song is called, "Pakalolo". Enjoy..the song that is... people.

In Memoriam

Today I just learned that one of my most favorite teachers from High School died.
He was my History teaccher and told history as it really was...no B.S. He died with basically nothing but the mark he left on his students.

Life's Cirque Du Soliel

This week's been a bit interesting...I've worked at the Cirque Du Soliel for the past two days doing promotions for LG phones. It was hands down the coolest job I've ever worked on... you know why? I was on a freakin' SEGWAY...on yeah on a segway for eight hours. I describe the segway as a machine connected to your brain that goes where you want to and stops when you want to, you'll never know untill you experience it. So there I was in a red cape surrounded by the newest and greatest in cell phone technology..donning a red cape, looking like a black Dracula on a segway being admired by all the normal people who either gasped or said "how does that thing work?"

The coolest thing was that after the promotion I got to watch the last few hours of Cirque Du Soliel's "Delirium"

My next promotion is at the Mall of America working for the "Pokemon 10th anniversary traveling tour..." that should be nice. It's all good.

Dance on Tom

After watching a show on MSNBC yesterday...Tom Cruise was once again rediculed for being overly happy in public. I thought I'd go online and see if I could find the video. (SEE IT HERE) Well after viewing the tape I came to a realization.

Tom Cruise is genuinely happy...and some people just don't like that or the fact that he publicy professes his happiness and maybe the love of his wife. So what if he dances on B.E.T...hmmm maybe no other "respectable" hollywood actor would dance with "those" people on B.E.T.

How many people..especially of the Hollywood caliber would be willing to let go and enjoy the company of others....listening to the tape, you can clearly hear the audience going..."go Tom! go Tom! go Tom" (see again)...wow that audience must have hated him or thought he was doing something awkward.

My word

Are we not men?

I had a dream from a book I'd read a while ago and went online to find my favorite
passage repeated by some characters

Not to go on All-Fours; that is the Law. Are we not men?
Not to suck up Drink; that is the Law. Are we not men?
Not to eat Fish or Flesh; that is the Law. Are we not men?
Not to claw the Bark of Trees; that is the Law. Are we not men?
Not to chase other Men; that is the Law. Are we not men?

Count your blessings

During the last week or two I've become passionate about a few things. One of them being the issue of Darfur. It's funny that most people wake up most morning and worry about the most petty things when infact somewhere far wround the world...a mother...daughter..or son wakes up wondering if they'll ever again see their lost family member or be killed on the way to get a drink of water and left to decompose by the roadside

I do feel so strongly about the sufferings of the people of Darfur and can't help to feel a certain kind of hypocrisy by the world governments especially Washington. In spite of the "Never again" motto by many after numerous genocides mostly in Europe. No one seems to be paying attention to this one that could easily be stopped but no action is being taken because of the unimportance of Darfur which is in Africa.

I've decided that from now on I'll do whatever I can even if it's nothing in order to help assist people who apparently have no value to the outside world because of what they don't have and what they look like. I will tell whoever I can and donate whatever I can spare to help my afflicted brothers

PLEASE HELP DARFUR
