SImply put it

The Long Road Home

Claude, Naim and Dave from left to right

A week ago or last Friday to be more specific we begin our jounney from Mankato to anywhere in California, we were hell bent on having some fun and leaving a trail while doing it.
We drove for approiximately 32 hours before arriving in the mountains of California where I think the word "Traffic Jam" might have been invented. The traffic over there is no joke. At a rate of 20 feet every minute, its no wonder more than a few crazed people inhabit that State.

our first stop was in San Diego where our hotel just happened to be overlook a police standoff as we were checking in, very exciting. Our hotel was three miles away from the border with Tijuana and was much as we were tempted to just walk or drive into Tijuana, we refrained because we didn't have enough money.

The next morning we hit the beach and did so hard, we met a few people from Arizona, Texas and a group of girls from Brazil.....Brazil must have a supermodel breeding program because all these girls were so beautiful but the Ukrainain chicks on the other hand were not on par. We stayed a few days in San Diego and then moved onto L.A next where the six lane high way that moved more like the lunch line at a packed cafeteria almost drove Dave insane.

We visited a few more cities including Bakersfield, Alahambra, Hollywood, Burbanks, Sacramento, San Francisco + a few I might have forgotten.
In my view San Fracisco was the worst with too many homeless, rude, hecklers, snobby people who thought they were too good since they lived in a urine smelling, pigeon shit infested ruin.

All in all my trip was great and I wish to write more in detail about it someday...very indetail...
